About The Program

Summer exhibition artist Hannah Burr leads this interactive behind-the-scenes experience inspired by the themes and concepts of her work in NOW-ish. Get a special, in-depth look at the exhibition before it opens to the public while engaging in conversation with the artist about what inspires and informs her work. Practice setting intentions through a meaning making exercise and lean into the transformative potential of thoughtful, imaginative play. Using discarded objects, participants will assign meaning to them and engage in the practice of letting go while writing reflectively about their experience. Participants are invited to bring a small household item to discard, their curiosity, and an open mind, and will leave with a copy of Hannah’s brand new book Field Guide to Ambiguity. Light refreshments will be served.
