From pausing to ponder the microscopic world to marveling at the macrocosm of the constellations in the sky, it is important to slow down and reflect on our interconnectedness to one another and our relationship with our mother earth. Pausing to appreciate the beauty all around us from tiny living organisms to cosmic dimensions, invites us all to slow down and see creativity abounding in every aspect of our lives. In 2022, the SCA is leaning into our collective rootedness through the creative medium of plants, fungi and constellations and unearthing refreshing perspectives. Throughout the course of the year, the exhibitions invite us to discover we are all gardeners tending to our own lives and sharing in the wonders of our amazing world.
