Play with paint, line, and layering in this class devoted to the joy of abstraction! Use cut paper to build composition and value from observation while learning about abstract artists like Picasso and Matisse and their work throughout history. Led by our 2024 corridor exhibition artist, Grand Rapids based Shannon Mack, participants will learn new techniques, experiment with materials, and leave with inspiration and the brand new artwork you’ve created. All supplies are included. Beginners and experienced artists are both welcome!
