Visiting Artist Program

Digging in Together: Unearthing the Light Within featuring illustrator Molly Costello

September 5, 2022 – January 13, 2023

Suitable for Grades 4 – 10 | 3 – 5 visits | 60 – 90 minutes each

Using the work of artist and Illustrator, Molly Costello, as inspiration, students participating in Digging in Together are  challenged to draw from their own past experiences, sources of joy, and backgrounds, to imagine a brighter and more hopeful future. Through the use of poetry and illustration, students engage in creative problem solving, self-expression, and reflective writing. Focused on our interconnectedness and collective well-being more than what divides us, students have the opportunity to interact with Molly in the classroom and imagine a better world together.
