November 9th - November 30th

Mountainfilm for Students

K-12 students travel the world and dive deep into heroic personal stories through the power of film. Inspiring stories about adventurous and brave youth their age, vibrant indigenous and multicultural stories, and behind-the-scenes of animal life are just some of the themes explored. Each collection highlights the importance of our connection to the land, as well as the importance of being brave and following your passion!

Mountainfilm for Students

The Saugatuck Center for the Arts is proud to present its 22nd year bringing film into the classroom with Mountainfilm for Students. K-12 students travel around the world through the power of film – learning other cultures, traditions, stories, and spirits.

In 2025, we’ll explore stories about adventurous and brave youth their age, vibrant indigenous and multicultural stories, and behind-the-scenes lives of animals – just to name a few. Students love seeing the journey of unique careers, new skills, and defying odds.

In 2024, we enthusiastically welcomed students back into our theater for film-based field trips to the SCA. 1,268 students visited the SCA in person and 2,674 joined us virtually. We brought new experiences to a total of 3,962 students last year, and we can’t wait to open up a world of possibilities for more students again this year.
