About The Program

Summertime means lots of fun in the sun for humans, but what does that mean for plants and animals? Join us at the Outdoor Discovery Center for a STEAM-filled day (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) exploring light and shadow! Visit with ODC naturalists to meet a couple of critters and learn about nocturnal and diurnal animals. Learn about the power of sunlight through sun prints and use shadows to create artwork.
