About The Program
We learn by doing in the vegetable garden! Join Jenny Bongiorno owner of Farm Kitchen Catering, SCA Market Friendors, and Lettuce Grow for a delicious and rewarding experience exploring the connection between the environment and us. This class takes students through the SCA Market to find local goodies, harvesting greens from our Lettuce Grow stands, and creating something delicious with their findings. Campers are asked to bring a lunch and or snack to be enjoyed alongside their edible creation.
Jenny Bongiorno is the co-founder of Farm Kitchen, a catering company providing “uniquely hyper-local food experiences”. Through relationships with local farmers, communities, and the environment, Farm Kitchen works to uplift communities and support mutually beneficial food systems.
