About The Program

An SCA Tradition

For the twenty-seventh year, the Art à Loan program is returning to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts to feature work from Saugatuck Public School students. The annual Art à Loan opening reception with art leasing will take place Wednesday, September 14.

The Art à Loan opening reception will take place Wednesday, September 14 at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts (400 Culver Street) from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Gallery doors will open at 6:45pm with leasing beginning promptly at 7pm.

Student artwork can be leased for $150 per year, for public display in offices, shops, restaurants, lobbies and other community spaces in the greater Saugatuck area. The artwork will remain on display for one year starting October 19, 2022. The program is self-supporting; proceeds from this year will cover next year’s costs.

Lessors can pick up their leased works on October 13 and 14 at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, after this time the artworks will be available by contacting Danielle Hanna at Saugatuck High School, 269.857.2133 or by email at dhanna@saugatuckps.com.

Those interested in leasing artwork but unable to attend the opening event can contact Danielle Hanna at Saugatuck High School, 269.857.2133 or by email at dhanna@saugatuckps.com.
