The SCA is a multi-disciplinary Art Center.

Our innovative, hands-on educational programming is designed for children, families, and adults. We utilize creativity as a vehicle for initiating and fostering conversation, connection, and growth.

We offer innovative arts-based creative literacy programs featuring professional working artists. Students of all ages can find a new creative outlet at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. In addition, Educators can sign up to bring their students to the SCA for field trips, or have a visiting artist in their classroom.

Children's Creative Programming

Our children’s camps and classes are designed for maximum creative impact with trips to unexpected places and cool new activities. Students work with local artists, professionals, and teachers who are super excited to share what they love.

Adult Programming

Now is the perfect time to get up-close-and-personal with professional artists at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. No matter your age, skill level, or interests – we’re crafting something creative and inspiring just for you at the SCA.

Growing Young Artists

Our Growing Young Artists (GYA) program interrupts students’ “at-risk trajectory” through creative educational experiences. This unique program augments core skills in literacy and language fluency, math and science. It also builds crucial social and emotional skills including problem-solving, collaboration, empathy, self-direction, and responsibility.

Digital Programming

Creative Conversations for the Classroom introduces students to a wide range of professional creatives (and career paths) while also serving up engaging hands-on activities.
