Create lasting change in West Michigan

In 2023, we grew our roots deeper, followed big dreams, and explored what we could create together. You’re getting this message because you spent time with us this year and were a part of the SCA magic! We’re asking you to reflect back on the joy you felt at the SCA this year and join us with a donation that fuels programming, entertainment, and community connections right here in West Michigan.

Right now you have the opportunity to DOUBLE your gift to the SCA.

Together in 2023, we CREATED:

CONNECTIONS | JOY | IMPACT

Throughout the year we welcomed thousands of guests to the SCA for programming that cultivated creativity, sparked imaginations, and exposed impressionable minds to new experiences. How did we do that?

• Strengthened literacy and social emotional skills at educational programming
• Experiencing theatrical magic at Kinky Boots and Jersey Boys
• Exploring the world through the power of film at Art Out Loud
• Immersive community events like Jump into Summer and A Bright Night

You can double your impact right now.

We’re raising funds for our 2024 programs, and we hope you’ll join us! As a non-profit, we rely on generous partners (like you!) to invest in the SCA.

Our goal is to raise $80,000 by December 31. Visionary supporters Jeff Antaya & Peter Rosenfeld are offering to match up to $40,000 to help us reach our goal. That means that a donation of $50 turns into $100, $100 into $200, and so on!

The SCA serves up a dynamic menu of entertainment, education, and community engagement – both on the SCA campus and throughout the community! In fact, 75% of our children’s programming happens at libraries, schools, and after school clubs utilizing The WiP, our mobile art truck.

We asked students what they created with the SCA this year. Their answers? Confidence, Growth, Experience, Memories, Courage, Belonging, and Fun. We are proud to provide FREE programs and events to ensure access for all, but especially for our young people.

Your gift of…

$50 enables 3 students to attend the Children’s Film Festival.
$100 covers gas for The WiP to get to two community outreach events.
$250 pays for 8 hours of educational instruction for teen after school programs.
$500 pays for a day of screenings at our Children’s Film Festival.
