About The Program

If you’ve ever been curious about improvisation, this is your chance to explore what it’s all about! Led by Julie Ganey, a professional actor, theater educator, and SCA’s 2024 Creative Fellow, you’ll be in great company as you learn the basics. Focus on the fundamentals like listening, being present in the moment, finding agreement and building scenes through games and exercises in a supportive environment. Each session you’ll learn something new and continue to sharpen your skills as you build on what you learned in the weeks prior. Whether you have improv experience or you’re brand new and curious what it’s all about, come spend your Monday nights with us! Improv is about so much more than being funny, but we promise you’ll laugh. A lot. 4 Sessions – Mondays, September 23, 30, October 7, 14
