Formed in 2014, Rumours has taken the U.S. by storm with their stage scorching renditions of Fleetwood Mac songs. Fans from across the nation claim that Rumours is the band to see if you are looking for an authentic recreation of live Fleetwood Mac shows.
Rumours will make you relive those Fleetwood Mac memories.

Music That Raised Us presents a Motown show, commemorating the incredible music history and unique artistry of Hitsville USA. Featuring some of Michigan’s greatest talents performing the most beloved songs of all time. This music revue dives deep into the history of how Motown Records came to be and where the magic all began.

Join us as we transform the Lobby at the SCA into an intimate nightclub setting where you’ll experience an evening of Jazz and Broadway standards performed by award-winning artists from around the state. This special event directly supports our low or no-cost education for local students. Your ticket includes a gourmet dessert!

Mondays, September 23 + 30, October 7 + 14
5:30 – 7:30 pm

If you’ve ever been curious about improvisation, this is your chance to explore what it’s all about! Led by Julie Ganey, a professional actor, theater educator, and SCA’s 2024 Creative Fellow, you’ll be in great company as you learn the basics. Each session you’ll learn something new and continue to sharpen your skills as you build on what you learned in the weeks prior. $100 for 4-class series.

Thursday, October 3
6:00 – 7:30 pm

Adults + Kids get creative together! Kids will develop a spooky short story with Julie Ganey, while adults will get creative making cut paper shadow puppets inspired by the characters in the story with Shannon Mack. At the end of the evening, kids will perform a show with the puppets and act out the story in silhouette! $15 per adult/child pair.

Thursday, October 17
7:00 – 8:30 pm

The Letter League Documentary tells the story of artist Heather Spooner of Ampersand Lettering Lab and the adult pen pal program she created during the 2020 pandemic, featuring the poignant and humorous stories of connection and humanity that came from it. Ticket includes screening and the opportunity to talk to Heather who will be on-site after the film! Tickets are $25, ages 13+.
