Learn how you can make your mark sponsoring our new theater seats
9:00am – 12:00pm
Join us for this one-of-a-kind 3-day theater experience, where we will explore foundational acting skills, while discovering fun and easy ways to create characters and perform scenes. Learn the basics from Julie Ganey, an actor, storyteller, theater educator and former SCA Creative Fellow. We’ll also go behind the scenes of Into the Woods and meet some of the actors and crew in a panel discussion, before concluding the week with a matinee viewing of Into the Woods! A healthy snack is provided each day.
A student ticket to the Thursday June 25th matinee performance of Into the Woods at 2:00pm is included in registration for each student. Parents have the option to purchase an additional ticket at regular price within the program seat block. Students will be supervised by SCA staff during the matinee and parent attendance is not required. Student attendance is also not required, but a ticket refund is not available if you choose not to attend.
Students who stay for the matinee on Thursday should plan to pack a lunch for this day only. Parents may also pick up their student for lunch, and return for the matinee at 2:00 pm. Show run time is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes with intermission.

The Saugatuck Center for the Arts connects people, sparks conversation, and builds community through a bold mix of entertaining, educational, and inspiring creative experiences.
