Think big, draw bigger! Join Grand Rapids based artist and chalk muralist Hallie LeBlanc for two days of collaborative drawing. Let your imagination run wild as you team up with fellow campers to design and create a large-scale mural using only colored drawing chalk and your creativity!

About The Program

Think big, draw bigger! Join Grand Rapids based artist and chalk muralist Hallie LeBlanc for two days of collaborative drawing. Let your imagination run wild as you team up with fellow campers to design and create a large-scale mural using only colored drawing chalk and your creativity! Learn how to take ideas for the paper and scale them up to size for larger than life artwork, and take part in a photoshoot alongside your finished mural. Learn about chalk artists and take your big ideas home with you to beautify your neighborhood sidewalks! A healthy snack is provided.

Hallie LeBlanc

Hallie graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a Master of Fine Arts,and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She spends much of her time teaching in after-school art programs, hiking or watching migratory birds. Trillium and Twig is her multi-media platform for artistic expression.
Her eye-catching work results from lots of distinct skills and techniques that she’s gained through years of working on her passion. From large scale chalk walls to detailed oil paintings, textile designs, and bridal bouquet drawings, Hallie is able to create vibrant art pieces that beautifully depict her client’s vision.
