Welcome summer with us

We’re coming back again with the biggest FREE party of the year at Jump into Summer, highlighting all the things that make our little corner of the globe so creatively intriguing! We’ll welcome another incredible Michigan summer with big entertainment, bold imagination, and buckets of joy.

Doors open at 5:00 pm and hands-on activities begin with professional artists! Dust off those dancing shoes from a winter in the closet because the stage will be rocking all night long with uplifting and boogie-inducing music!

While registration is not necessarily required, it is greatly appreciated. We use these registrations to plan our event to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible for you and your fellow festival-goers.

Jump Into Summer Chair Policy

Oudoor Event Policies

We’re so excited to offer incredible experiences outdoors under the Saugatuck summer sun. Sometimes there are questions about what can and can’t be done at our outdoor events, we’re hoping to clear some of that up here.

HEADLINER

7:30 – 9:30 pm

Rudy De Anda

Rudy de Anda, born in Mexico in the 1980s and raised in California, blends his multicultural roots into his music, particularly showcased in his 2020 debut solo album Tender Epoch. The album serves as a tribute to rock ‘n’ roll through his unique lens, resisting categorization and reflecting his diverse upbringing across Compton, Long Beach, Mexico, and even a transformative trip to Chile.

Influenced by a wide range of genres heard in his Hispanic household—rock, bossa nova, traditional Mexican music, and punk—De Anda developed a rich, eclectic sound. A pivotal mentor in his life was Ikey Owens (The Mars Volta, Jack White), who guided De Anda into music production and encouraged his artistic growth.

Though active in music since 2005, Tender Epoch marked De Anda’s first project under his own name, showcasing heartfelt storytelling and personal expression. It’s a blend of pop, punk attitude, and romanticism—an album that’s both introspective and made for the open road.

6:00 – 7:00 pm

DJ Alexander Great

Alexander Great is a multidisciplinary creative and sonic storyteller who weaves genres, influences, eras, and ideas into immersive journeys that spark curiosity and stir the soul. As a DJ, Alexander blends sound with intention — curating sets that move both bodies and minds. Beyond the booth, he is a creative strategist, photographer, graphic design artist, and event producer, bringing a holistic vision to every project he touches. Whether crafting visuals, building experiences, or setting the vibe, Alexander’s work is driven by a deep love of culture, community, and the transformative power of art.
