About The Program
Learn drawing and art-making techniques using willow, compressed, and powdered charcoal! Make art that explores our roots with this moody medium made from burned plant matter. Create charcoal transfers and bold, layered mixed-media art pieces. Paint with liquid charcoal and create gesture drawings from life. Get out and explore the SCA garden and market to draw and find inspiration. Branch out and get wildly creative with this versatile and dark medium. A healthy snack provided.
