An SCA Tradition

For the twenty-ninth year, the Art à Loan program is returning to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts to feature work from Saugatuck Public School students. The annual Art à Loan opening reception with art leasing will take place Wednesday, September 11.

The Art à Loan opening reception will take place Wednesday, September 11 at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts (400 Culver Street) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Gallery doors will open at 6:45pm with leasing beginning promptly at 7pm.

Student artwork can be leased for $150 per year, for public display in offices, shops, restaurants, lobbies and other community spaces in the greater Saugatuck area. The artwork will remain on display for one year at area businesses and organizations starting October 21, 2023. The program is self-supporting; proceeds from this year will cover next year’s costs.

Lessors can pick up their leased works on October 21, 2024 at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, after this time the artworks will be available by contacting Danielle Hanna at Saugatuck High School, 269.857.2133 or by email at dhanna@saugatuckps.com.
