In 2025, we’re exploring all the different ways that we can collectively thrive. Professional entertainment has always been a staple of the work that we do at the SCA, and this year we’re bringing stories to our stage that will lift spirits and energize your soul.
From exhilarating musicals to side-splitting comedy, we’re bringing huge talent to the SCA stage this summer. We’re going to kick things off with the final tour of Dixie Longate, soar into two moving musicals, Come From Away and Waitress, and then add in a few concerts from our good friends.
Tickets are on sale NOW – find ticket links and more information below!
Come From Away
June 20 - July 13

A heartwarming musical that will restore your faith in humanity.
This acclaimed musical takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clash and nerves run high, but uneasiness turns into trust, music soars into the night, and gratitude grows into enduring friendships. The Chicago Tribune says “there are shows you should see right now, for the benefit of your own spirit, and this is one of them.”
We are thrilled to be the first theater in Michigan to produce the Tony Award winning international phenomenon, Come From Away.
Waitress
August 8 - 31

Experience the musical that serves up a slice of life with a dollop of humor.
Jenna is a waitress and expert pie-maker trapped in a small town and a rocky marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county, and a satisfying run-in with someone new, offers her a chance at a fresh start. But will she take it? With the support of her fellow waitresses, Jenna summons the secret ingredient she’s been missing all along — courage. Enjoy this delicious story of love, hope, and second chances while you sway along to the original score by Grammy winning singer and composer Sara Bareilles. The New York Times says Waitress “rises to transporting heights, and sweeps up your heart along with it.”

Catch up with the star of Dixie’s Tupperware Party in her first ever stand up show where she talks about everything from Loretta Lynn to alien abductions, pogo sticking to “safe words” in that rapid-fire delivery that has made her an international sensation.
Join us for the last chance to spend an evening of side-splitting laughter with Dixie Longate at Dixie’s final tour.
