Mason Street Warehouse and its 2015 summer season lineup finds itself showered with 8 nominations for The 2016 Wilde Awards, including Best Musical, Best Lead Actor, and Best Lead Actress.
“We’re honored and humbled to have been nominated for eight awards in six categories,” said SCA Artistic Director and Mason Street Warehouse founder Kurt Stamm. “The WildeAwards honor Michigan’s professional theaters and the superb work they produce – Mason Street Warehouse is in fantastic company. I couldn’t be prouder of the team of professional actors and technicians who contributed to Cabaret, Buyer & Cellar, and First Date.”
Wilde Award nominations are for the best productions, performances, and technical work produced by the professional theatres and opera companies across the State. Theaters and companies are chosen based upon reviews written by the professional critics of EncoreMichigan.com. During the 2015-2016 season their team of critics reviewed 241 productions produced or presented by 66 professional theater companies from 36 communities across Michigan.
