Get ready for a day of creative food-fun! Families will enjoy a farm tour with Virtue Farms Agricultural Director Ryan Beck and shepherd Johanna Bystro. Ryan and Johanna talk about the benefits of raising healthy animals to feed soil that will in turn grow healthier plants -- like in Virtue’s apple orchard where sustainable, holistic farming methods are practiced.

Campers learn about farm life cycles and see a flock of free range heritage chickens, a passel of Gloucestershire Old Spot heritage hogs, and even baby sheep!  We’ll all have lunch on the farm then head back to the studio to create a hands-on project.  Wear shoes for serious outdoor exploration.
